Snapchat has just been updated with a set of updates that delivers several improvements for its users. The latest update to Snapchat app introduces new features for Snap captions. With this new feature you can change the color of your caption, resize the text to your liking and drag the caption to make sure it’s in the right position to enhance your picture. This update also allows you to use a variation of Snap filters by stacking one filter on top of another filter. When you’ve added the first filter, press on the screen with one finger while you swipe the screen with another finger to choose the second filter for your picture.
And, finally, the latest Snapchat update makes sure you can use the app in full resolution on your iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. Download the app for free here!
Previous Snapchat updates include the introduction of Geofilters and Snapcash.
Geofilters can be used to decorate some of your favourite places in the world.
There have been lots of requests from Snapchatters who need help to make their own, personalized Geofilters. This has led to the creation of the ‘Community Geofilter website’, where users can draw up their own creations and use it to make their own, personalized Geofilters.
But with all these great new updates, the new product that Snapchat is most excited about is Snapcash. To build this new product, Snapchat worked together with the creators Square Cash; the easiest way to send or request cash to and from your friends. Using Snapcash is fun and very simple. Just enter your debit card, which will be safely stored by Square. In the Snapchat app, you can swipe into the chat, type the amount of cash that you want to send (do not forget to type the dollar sign first, for example: $6,95), and press the green button. Square will then quickly process your money and transfer it into your friend’s bank account. This product can (at this moment) only be used by Snapchatters who live in the US, who have a debit card and who are at least eighteen years of age. Remember to use Snapcash responsibly!
